On Wednesday Night, The New York Mets whipped the San Diego Padres 8-4. Matt Harvey(1-0) was magnificent pitching 7 innings, giving up 0 runs on 2 hits, 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. Clayton Richard was rocked in 4 1/3 innings while bleeding 8 runs(7 earned) on 7 hits, 2 walks and a strikeout. This clinches the first season series of the year for the Mets and on Thursday afternoon let’s bring our brooms to the Citi.
